Hello!

I am a Machine Learning Manager at Apple.

I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the USC Signal Analysis and Interpretation Lab (SAIL) working under the guidance of Prof. Shrikanth S. Narayanan. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul.

My research interests include weighted finite-state automata, neural networks and structured prediction with a particular focus on algorithms and data structures for natural language processing, automatic speech recognition and information retrieval.

I am one of the developers of the Kaldi speech recognition toolkit and the creator of PyKaldi.
